Hydroactive Wound Dressings

TenderWet®

TenderWet®

Superabsorbent wound dressing pad, which creates in combination with Ringer's solution or TenderWet solution a moist wound environment for up to 24 hours; removes necroses and coatings and in exchange, absorbs wound exudate and in this way accelerates wound cleansing; the hydrophobic covering prevents adhesion; it can be removed without wound irritation; the wound dressing pads are available in two presentations: ready-to-use and pre-activated or for self-activation supplied with TenderWet solution in a separate container.

Sorbalgon®

Sorbalgon®

Conformable, non-medicated dressings and tamponing ribbons made of calcium alginate fibres which transform into a hydrophilic non-adherent gel on contact with the sodium salts contained in blood and exudate, the gel fills the wound cavity and thus creates close wound contact and a favourable microclimate for healing arises; germs are trapped in the gel structure during transformation.

AquaclearTM

The clear-sighted specialist for controlled wound healing in a moist environment.

PermaFoam®

PermaFoam®

Foam dressing with a permeable to water vapour polyurethane top layer; the special hydrophilic foam structure provides for a fast transport of wound exudate by a reinforced capillary effect and guarantees a balanced moist wound environment; germs and cell debris are trapped and remain bound even under compression; soft and supple, with good padding effect, can be removed without wound irritation; available in different sizes and shapes.

Hydrocoll®

Hydrocoll®

Absorbent, self-adhesive hydrocolloid dressing with semi-permeable top layer which is impermeable to germs; the hydrocolloids transform into a gel and create a moist wound environment; the gel remains absorbent until the hydrocolloids are saturated; promotes granulation and epithelization; it can be removed without wound irritation; available in different sizes and shapes.

Hydrosorb® Gel

Hydrosorb® Gel

A clear and viscous gel whose components are water with an electrolytic composition and which provides a balanced, moist environment from the very beginning; Hydrosorb Gel softens and hydrates dry necrotic tissue, facilitates removal of devitalized tissue and absorbs wound exudate of slightly exuding wounds; can be washed away using sterile rinsing solution without disturbing the rest of the wound; available in dispenser syringes featuring measuring scales pointing in opposite directions to enable correct determination of the volume used to fill the wound and of the remaining volume; individually sealed.
